Drumroll please… PANTONE’s 2017 color of the year: Greenery! This refreshing and revitalizing shade is the perfect shade for bride’s to incorporate into their weddings as it is symbolic of new beginnings. Greenery is nature’s neutral. The more submerged people are in modern life, the greater their innate craving to immerse themselves in the physical beauty and inherent unity of the natural world. This shift is reflected by the proliferation of all things expressive of Greenery in daily lives through urban planning, architecture, lifestyle and design choices globally. A constant on the periphery, Greenery is now being pulled to the forefront – it is an omnipresent hue around the world.
Is there such a thing as an Engagement Season?! You bet there is!
Engagement season starts at Thanksgiving, and in theory ends on Valentine’s day. Study shows that most couples get engaged during the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and on Valentine’s day.
If you watch any TV, you will notice an increased amount of Jewelry, and engagement rings commercials during this time. (That is not by chance)
